Here is the history and how everything began. Take note that I have forgotten lots and lots of stuff, but I do remember the important factors during my time online. Hopefully this will give you a clearer picture of who I am...
Pre-Warcraft Era
Hahaha, the only thing I remember during this time was I was a Netcom user and I never ever liked Warcraft 2 (I liked it with the cheats on tho)... I never played online during the pre-war times (the only game I played online were MUDS - if you consider those games). Of course without playing on MUDS I would've never made up the name BLuD and I would be someone else :)
Enter the DeathDealer
Oh, the biggest biggest influence that got me started playing online in the first place! I entered my name on some modem players bulletin board (I thought it wouldn't work), then all of a sudden JZA aka DeathDealer called me! Well we played Warcraft 2 and of course he DESTROYED me easily. Well from that point on I loved playing War2 online and me and DeathDealer would eventually move into Kali Dos...
CRIS Era
Moving out of Netcom I signed up with Concentric (they offered Unlimited Inet Connection and had Gameconnection - hehehe). Well first thing I did was try Gamecon, and my first impression on it was everyone was snots and no one wanted to help you! If you were a newbie you weren't gonna get any help. Well lucky for me only one person helped me out and that was DangerDave and DWparks (anyone seen these ppl?). My first War2 game on gamecon was against DWparks on the map Spiral (ooo I still remember the game hehe), and I won. Well after that game, I guess DWparks spread the word on how good I am... and this is how I think I gained some recognition and respect...
Eppycg (aka Epmeat)
Making a name for myself I would eventually bump into Eppycg. Now according to Eppy, no one wanted to ally with him in War2. Well, because of this and the fact that he was from Jersey too, he was my first true ally in CRIS (that is until Jza entered the Gamecon scene), and boy did we rack up some kills... eventually I would meet with some other good War2 players who are either still around, or gone for good :(
DeathDealer enters the joint
Hehe well it kinda took awhile but I did get DeathDealer to try out Gamecon instead of Kali Dos (during my time in Gamecon, DD was kicking ass in Kali)... while DD wasn't in gamecon I was hyping everyone up on how good DD was and that was better than me. Well, lets just say not one person believed me (I think Eppy was the only one who believed) - no one believed that someone can be better than me (was I that good?!). Well the moment DD enters, we challenged any 2 ppl against us... and to the day gamecon closed down, me and DD were never defeated...
The End of CRIS
Just like in Dgod's History, I would eventually leave CRIS. Gamecon was almost always empty during its final time. Concentric cared little for the nice little community in Gamecon (there were lots of problems - like games would lag out and sometimes games wouldn't even work) and this for the most part made ppl leave. After awhile, me and DD just moved back into Kali and continued the killing from there...
Kali 95
It wasn't till Kali95 that some ppl from Gamecon would move into Kali... well it was great having the old heads in there again and meeting some new ppl as well (Stratejaket and Bnage). Well we would have a lot of good games during this time (Dgod was MIA)... a lot of things happened during this time. Epmeat assembled a clan for Cases ladder (hehehe me and Cman made the team go up to the top ten only to see it go down in rank the next 2 days heheeh)... During this time, we also started playing other online games (Duke 3D and Diablo for the most part)...
Present and Beyond...
Well eventually I got bored with Warcraft 2 (I actually stopped playing War2) and got interested into other games more (Duke 3D, Quake, Diablo, etc.)... Also, ever since I started college, I have been very busy with lots of stuff and am barely seen in Kali. I would still enter Kali when I had the chance (if I wasn't out or wasn't playing some other computer game). I am glad to see that there are still ppl on kali from the old gamecon days. Demigod made his return while other faces like patryot1 aka cLoWnO dissappeared :( Well Starcraft, Half-Life, and any new GOOD game that comes out are the games I play now. Hopefully, when War2 Platnium comes out, it will revive the good 'ol feelings of those golden Gamecon years (or months not sure)...
